March 31, 2021:
- CT PFML – Deadline for employers to have a private plan approved by CT state and for retroactive tax exemptions for 1Q2021.
- NY state’s average weekly wage published. New wage does not impact NY PFL benefits until 1/1/2022.
July 1, 2021:
- MA PFML – All leave reasons are available including for care of family member with serious health condition.
September 1, 2021:
- NY PFL – Publishes updates effective 1/1/2022.
October 2021:
- WA PFML – Publishes updates effective 1/1/2022.
- MA PFML – Publishes updates effective 1/1/2022.
- Social Security Wage index is published. This is used to calculate WA, MA, and CT funding contribution limits.
