We will use data, crowd-sourcing and social listening to design experiences that improve wellness, enhance productivity and create meaningful connections between MetLife and our people.
In 2017, MetLife:
Designed offices according to best-in-class standards for employee wellness, featuring wellness rooms, sit-stand desks and café-style areas for meetings.
Ensured that employees in more than 30 countries had access to over 350 activities from the Wellness for Life program and its network of local wellness champions.
Simplified the performance assessment process by improving the approach and increasing manager flexibility.
Held MetLife’s fourth annual Global Inclusion Week, celebrating “acts of inclusion.”
Expanded our recognition platform, Center Stage, to give employees the opportunity to easily give feedback, say thanks and be recognized for bringing our values to life.
Launched online learning courses to help managers and employees connect their work to MetLife’s refreshed enterprise strategy.
Conducted internal survey to understand the effectiveness of how we communicate with employees. Based on the findings, we developed a Leadership Communication Resource Center, which includes frequently asked question guides, talking points and webinars to help leaders speak with their teams.
